Red Lady was created in the very first exhibition of the Artist Tamaasa held at Saatchi & Saatchi in a group show of female artists. The artwork is one in a range of red artworks from 2004, many which feature abstract expressionist work which looks at Expressionism, portraiture and landscapes.

This particular artwork was a part of a series of life drawings that are on paper and canvas, many of which are held in Private Collection.

The artist was re-gifted this artwork by a close family friend for availability.

The hues are teals, greens, reds and blues.
